Our Programs
Our programs are the stepping stones to building an internal roadmap for our members & participants' future. We are paving a new path for young women to elevate in the STEAM fields by giving them access to tools & resources throughout their Be-Ruth experience.

As they discover the many career fields through our in-person & virtual workshops led by our partnered experts. Each activity will begin with an introduction to the topic and explain the scientific concepts related to the experiment (chemical reactions, physical changes, etc.).
A partnership with sySTEMic, will further enhance our ability to develop a science lab for hands on learning and guidance from experts in their fields.

These lead our members/students to obtain a particular result that hyper- focuses on developing critical thinking and analysis. In the ten-week course, our signature program is "The Internet of Things Future Inventors Program," which is designed to cover all areas of I.T. foundation with a broader understanding that is ideal for non-technical participants. They will learn questioning, diagramming, mathematical, computer-coding and evaluation skills taught with the FlexTIM system, which apply to other situations and circumstances requiring problem-solving skills.
This curriculum will allow us to educate, empower and inspire youth girls on an ongoing basis who are considering a field in I.T.; especially in Georgia. In many counties that may lack the resource, we partner with other educators to cultivate talent and foster innovation in a technology-driven world.

Our program's mission is to continue to support our members by giving access to the tools & resources with our partner SWENEXT! They provide our teen division (13-18) a gifted membership into their organization (Society of Women Engineers), which will allow them to have access to all events, scholarship opportunities, projects, and an unlimited list of resources/contacts!
Throughout the ten-week program, our young & teen division participate in focused engineering projects. They learn the beginning stages of design from brainstorming, research, development, testing, and revising prototypes, which teaches them to enhance problem-solving skills and make their design a reality.

The ability to communicate and convey thoughts and feelings outside of speech will strengthen their ability to transcend expressive barriers and creatively explore their inner ideas and unique qualities. Our members/students will be journaling through their experience, especially this time, along with creating a vision board/collage that will be shared at the culmination of the program years' annual Golden Pearl Donor's Ball.

Finances are a part of daily life, and the power to manage them will yield life-altering benefits in the short and long term.

The program works to improve healthy development, safety and well-being of youth girls. Furthermore; the program builds their mental and emotional fortitude, physical stamina, and spiritual awareness through events and opportunities that address issues that young women face daily.
Students are taught the importance of social service through volunteer opportunities and global learning excursions that gives them an opportunity to be in an environment that will spark their interest to want to do something different.
